It appears that Twitter is now blocking any messages that contain the term “illegal alien” because they consider it to be “hate speech.”

The American Mirror reports the Center for Immigration Studies tweeted Tuesday that Twitter rejected four ads from the Center that included the phrase illegal aliens, citing it as “Hateful Content.”

Never mind the fact, as the group points out, that “illegal aliens” is the legal definition of those in the country illegally used in both federal law and by the Supreme Court.

Twitter joins others who have attempted to censor the term “illegal immigrant,” “illegal alien,” or similar descriptions of illegal immigrants in recent years.
