President Donald Trump is heading to Youngstown, Ohio, Monday evening as he continues campaigning for Republican candidates ahead of November's midterm elections.
Trump is scheduled to appear alongside Republican Sen. Jon Husted, who is facing a challenge from former Democratic Sen. Sherrod Brown in one of the state's closely watched Senate races.
The rally comes as Republicans work to maintain control of Congress, with Trump taking an active role in campaigning for GOP candidates across the country.
Husted, who previously served as Ohio's lieutenant governor, is seeking to retain his Senate seat against Brown, who represented Ohio in the U.S. Senate before losing his reelection bid in 2024.
Protesters are also expected to gather outside the Youngstown event as the president addresses supporters.
The appearance is part of Trump's broader effort to rally Republican voters ahead of the November elections.
A federal judge has ordered the Trump administration to stop airing taxpayer-funded advertisements highlighting President Donald Trump's accomplishments and promoting his administration's agenda.
The ruling comes after questions were raised about whether the advertisements were appropriate uses of federal funds. The administration has defended the spots as public service announcements, while critics, including Democrats and some Republicans, argue they amount to political advertising paid for with taxpayer dollars.
According to court documents, the administration has already spent approximately $20 million on the advertising campaign.
The Justice Department informed the court Saturday that the advertisements would stop airing after Sunday. However, the spots reportedly continued running Sunday, prompting the judge's order.
Trump previously said his political action committee would take over funding the advertisements rather than using taxpayer money.
The ruling adds to an ongoing dispute over the use of federal funds for advertisements promoting the administration's policies and accomplishments.

The pregnant victim, identified as Angelina Stone, was reportedly just four days away from giving birth. Friends and relatives remembered her and the other victims as they struggled to understand what happened.
The shooting has left the Erie community grieving as investigators continue examining the events leading up to the tragedy.

This week's episode of The Relief Factor Pain focuses on Kimberly Guilfoyle, the former ambassador to Greece, who has been embroiled in a controversy. While Secretary of State Marco Rubio was delivering a noteworthy speech in Greece, attention shifted to Guilfoyle due to messages she sent asking for a $100,000 payment to settle her debt. The messages, reportedly sent to Eric Deeters in Kentucky, have caused a significant distraction from Rubio’s speech and have led to speculation about potential congressional investigations. Guilfoyle’s past relationships, including her time as Donald Trump Jr.'s girlfriend and Gavin Newsom’s former wife, have added layers to the narrative. This incident underscores the importance of transparency and discretion in public service roles, potentially leading to further scrutiny and consequences.
